Congratulations, LVHS! You have been selected by the South Carolina State Department of Education and ETV to be featured on ETV's In Our Schools as a result of your strong academic achievement. The program is scheduled to air in September.

Softball play-offs are in full swing. Good luck to the Lady Gators as they attempt to reclaim the 1A State Title!

S.C. Virtual School offers students the chance to re-take courses failed. Check the fall registration information on the S.C. State Department of Education Website, www.myscschools.com under the Virtual Schools tab.

PALMETTO GOLD SCHOOL

The S.C. State Department of Education recently publicized that Lake View High School and Lake View Elementary received the Palmetto Gold Award for high academic achievement. This marks the fourth occasion that Lake View High School has been selected a Palmetto Silver/Gold School since 2001. In addition, LVHS met all required components of the National AYP.

Thank you teachers, staff, students, parents, and other community stakeholders for your effort. This is a great accomplishment for our school and district.
